Németh, Ondřej ; Vostrejž, Dušan (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor)
The design of the sports and recreation center in Vsetín solves the complete revitalization of the unused territory on the periphery of the town in the Ohrada district. The aim of the project is to revive the poorly accessible and neglected area and its use not only for a wide range of sports activities, but also for leisure activities and recreation. The whole area should be freely accessible and open to a wide range of public. Four main buildings are designed in the complex: a multi-purpose sports hall, a hotel, a tennis club and a snack bar with a bicycle service. There is a football field, a basketball court and a small football pitch on the open spaces between these objects, as well as two climbing walls, an outdoor gym and a parkour area with many obstacles. The rest of the areas are pavements and free grass areas intended for leisure and recreation of visitors.

Title: Gait analysis of female basketball players Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to perform gait analysis using Qualisys and Kistler systems in long time female basketball players and population that does not engage in any regular sports activity on competitive level. Selected spatiotemporal, kinematic and kinetic gait parameters are compared between measured groups. Methods: 20 female probands participated in this experimental study. Tested group consists of 10 long time female basketball players between ages of 21 and 29 (mean age of 24,5). Control group consists of 10 female probands between ages of 24 and 25 (mean age of 24,5) that do not engage in any competitive sport on regular basis. Qualisys Motion Capture system was used to gather 3D kinematic gait data. Ground reaction forces were measured by using Kistler force plates. Data was obtained by both systems at the same time. Evaluated gait parameters were walking speed, step length, pelvic and shoulder rotation range of motion in transversal plane, CG of foot range of motion and all ground reaction forces components. Two-sample t-test and Mann-Whitney U test with significance level of 0,05 were used for statistical analysis of obtained data. Results: Results of this study demonstrate that long time engagement in...

Title: Mozart effect on shooting accuracy of professional basketball players Aims: The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate whether the Mozart effect impacts the success rate of free throws in young premier league basketball players compared to shooting without music. Methods: As this is a pilot study, the data acquisition on this topic first started by examining the previously written text on the Mozart. The project is an experimental pilot study involving 21 probands who were randomized into three groups. The experiment is divided into 2 parts. In the first part participants are asked to shoot one hundred free throws in five blocks of twenty. In the second part, the participants are exposed to different types of acoustic stimulus during which they throw another hundred free throws. All measurements were taken after conditioning or shooting practice for the most authentic replication of the game situation. The process of the practical part was carried out in accordance with the CRISP-DM methodology, which is one of the most widely used methodologies for knowledge capture from databases (KCD). Results: The results show a borderline low correlation between shooting with and without music, according to Pearson's correlation coefficient, with a value of 0.33. The aim of using this statistical function...

Sport hall and its facilities for the elementary school Hudcova 35, Brno
Šmajda, Róbert ; Klimecký, Martin (referee) ; Gerö, Jiří (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is the design of the SPORTS HALL AND ITS FACILITIES FOR THE PRIMARY SCHOOL HUDCOVA 35, BRNO. The diploma thesis directly follows on from the developed urban planning study from subject AG056 - Pre-diploma project. The elaborated architectural study deals with the object of the sports hall and its facilities serving primarily elementary school students, fans of recreational sports, but also the general public. The addressed area is located in the Brno-Medlánky district. The building plot is spread over a slightly sloping terrain. The plot itself is currently surrounded by mostly flat fields, pastures and a historical park. The study of the sports hall, as well as the urban study of the territory, respects the surrounding terrain and the natural character of the landscape. It simultaneously recognizes pedestrian and traffic communication directions and connections to the immediate surroundings. The proposed hall together with the background, a tribune for 300 spectators, a multifunctional hall and a clubhouse with a buffet has the shape of a pure block cut into the terrain. It uses materials such as wood, glass and concrete. It consists of 3 floors and an entrance mezzanine. The balance between the proposed sports hall, the expression of respect for the current natural scenery and terrain relief is taken into account in the architectural expression of the entire object.

The theoretical part is mainly focused on the characteristics of the individual motor abilities, a general description and a description of the performance in relation to the physiology of the two sports games observed and ontogeny during adolescence. In the practical part, we have stated the main and secondary objectives of the work, stated the hypotheses, described the work procedure and the basic characteristics of the study population. Furthermore, we presented all the measured results and visualized them by charts for better clarity. In the last part of the thesis, we statistically evaluated all the data and on this basis accepted or rejected the stated hypotheses. In the discussion, we also compared the results of the respondents with the general population. Based on all the findings, we presented 11 conclusions of the thesis which correspond to the main objective and secondary objectives of this thesis. KEYWORDS volleyball, basketball, motor...
